Designed to meet the needs of a growing population, this project added a new interchange to I-215 at Placentia Avenue, between Ramona Expressway to the north and Nuevo Road to the south. The new interchange has improved access, traffic flow, and air quality. This project added on-ramps and off-ramps to Placentia Avenue, realigned East Frontage Road, widened the Placentia Avenue overcrossing, and added lanes to Placentia Avenue between Harvill Avenue and Indian Avenue.
